New Loan Disbursement Procedure
To be compliant with the country’s digital strategy, starting Monday, October 29th Island Finance Aruba will no longer be issuing checks for customer loan proceeds, third-party disbursements, refunds, vendors or payroll. Furthermore, on Monday, we will no longer be accepting personal checks or checks from other financial institutions for the purposes of loan pay-off.
As we have been doing since June, all customer loan proceeds will continue to be issued via ACH. Now starting Monday, all payments from customers that are not on bank standing order or employer payroll deduction should be made in cash or by using our POS machines in one of our 5 conveniently-located retail locations.
